Announcement. Be a NICE Human. Our in house designed tee is really helpful in times like these. But the real announcement is that we will sadly be closing our doors (temporarily, hopefully). We do not know for sure when we will open back up, but know that we will for sure be closed until at least April 1st. Please follow social distancing recommendations before they have to become requirements. Keep your neighbors safe by staying in, writing in a journal, burning candles, sitting next to your new plant, and shopping local online. 😉 (We have all of those items on our website if that wasn't obvious enough!) I am doing all the boring numbers and seeing what it will take to get through this time with the business intact. YOU can help that by purchasing gift cards online, or items for FREE shipping or local delivery. We also are still offering shopping in store by appointment and pick up orders. I will be adding even more items this week to the hundreds we have listed. I know that a lot of you are stressing in so many different ways, and I 100% understand that and hope that you and yours stay healthy and above water during these times. Dear community, udånder will be closed at both locations effective immediately through March 31st. Due to the climate of our community and the emergency of our state with the novel coronavirus, it is our number one priority to keep our staff and spa guests safe at this time. Hi, friends! We’ve been talking for about a week about how we as a company can be as socially responsible as possible while still keeping things fun, safe, & convenient for our customers. We feel like we as a business have a moral obligation to discourage public gatherings. We have put a lot of thought into our new plan and are excited to share it with you. It offers lots of different price points, new DIY at home goodies, new menu options and is hopefully really easy for you. We will go to a drive-thru only service starting Tuesday (3/17). We have a video and lots of signage coming tomorrow to show you exactly where you will pull in, order, and receive your treats. This plan will continue until at least Saturday. Hi friends! It is with saddened but super optimistic hearts that we’ve decided to help #flattenthecurve and close our brick and mortar locations to help keep our friends and family safe. Community is extremely important to us and you’ve proven through the years that it’s really important to you, too, so we want to continue to keep in touch and remain even more active online. Expect even more dance videos, shop tours, product highlights, customer shout outs, and photos of our processes as we continue to use both shops to fulfill orders and keep our studio open at OKcollective for candle production only. Both will be closed to the public until further notice.

This is a crazy time, but we’re all in this together and we feel empowered and reassured knowing you guys are the real deal and when our doors do fly back open, we know you’ll come to shop and hang as you have been. That inspires us and keeps us positive more now than ever.

Both shops, @shopcommondear and OKcollective will move to $5 flat rate shipping, free shipping with purchases over $50 and free scheduled local pick ups. Our wholesale business will be business as usual.

Our hearts are heavy with a burden to keep our business strong. Our hearts are also heavy with a responsibility to the entire community to do our part to help flatten the curve. We have made the choice that so many others are making for their business, and have decided to close our doors for the time being. Good morning friends. I am coming at you with sad news, news I struggled with over the last several days, news that kept me up late last night with worry, news I don’t want to delivery but need to... During this time of crisis I have decided to close the container. This is not a permanent close {heck no, we aren’t going anywhere}, just a temporary close in order to do my part to #flattenthecurve. I may personally be healthy, but I do not know the situation of every person that walks through the container doors. In order to protect them and their families I have just decided our best option is to close 😔 We are working on new action plans to change our daily operations, we plan to pay close attention to our online shop and make sure it is well stocked, we plan on offering free shipping to all customer orders, we plan on offering curbside pickup or local delivery options, we plan on doing loads of try-on sessions on social media, etc. We are just temporarily shifting how our business operates. Our customers, employees, and community are everything to us and I will miss our personal interactions greatly; however, I will be present on social media now more than ever so please drop me any comments, videos, photos, etc. We are all in this together 💕 Love you all and see you online ☺️ PS. At the store, we are very much trying our best to meet the sanitary guidelines. We are wiping down surfaces regularly, along with thorough hand washing and sanitizer available at the register.⁠

We encourage you to continue to shop small and support your community because businesses, makers and artists like us are being affected tremendously. With events being canceled left and right, there is a lot of revue we are all missing out on.⁠

If you are ever feeling too cooped up, a brisk walk around the @plazadistrict might make you feel better. So, please come see us! As long as our employees are well, DNA's doors will remain open. As soon as any of us feel ill, we will stay home; as to keep our store a safe place.⁠⁠

Next time you don't want to get the kids out of the car (for whatever reason), just give us a call from the parking lot! We will come to you!

If you have a cough or fever, please visit our website to shop rather than coming in. We are trying to keep our staff and shoppers safe and well during this germy time. We have regular shoppers with immuno-compromised children, a staff member with family going through chemotherapy, and we all have parents/grandparents/elderly people we love, so please respect their safety by not sharing germs.

We want to keep Made a safe space for everyone and we want to empower our staff and shoppers in knowing that we will do all that we can to keep our space clean and safe.

To limit the germs around the shop, we are also

- Disinfecting door handles, checkout area, and register/ipad multiple times a day

- Offering complimentary hand sanitizer at the checkout area and staff will sanitize after any cash transactions- Not offering public restrooms as this time

- Pulling all testers on cosmetics and roll on perfumes for now

- Doubling the frequency that our cleaning crew comes to clean our space.

Lastly, our hours will be fluctuating a bit as our daughter's school has closed. We will post any updates to hours on social media as they change.
