This book club begins with an end date in mind: six challenges in six months. Middle grade fiction for the adult reader who never lost their sense of wonder — the discussions are rooted in books we will talk about for years to come. Middle-grade novels are often where the most fearless, imaginative storytelling lives — and they deserve a seat at the adult table. Let our facilitator help you rediscover the magic — join the current six-month book club, every fourth Tuesday from January to June.

Our first puzzle exchange was a huge success! Join us again on Thursday evening, April 9th 7-8:30pm to exhange a puzzle in great condition with all the pieces, for a new-to-you puzzle to take home. Here's how it works:
Purchase a $5 ticket to reserve your spot, and arrive at Commonplace with one or two puzzles (2 puzzle limit) to offer up for exchange. Your puzzle will receive a number upon entry. Enjoy a fun beverage and a seat at one of our puzzle tables set up especially for the evening.
At 7:30 pm, draw a number to determine your place in the choosing queue. (If you bring two puzzles, draw two numbers.) A two and an eight drawn? You get to make your choice 2nd and again 8th in the queue. There will be two rounds of drawing to help keep the queue fair.
Puzzle, meet new people, shop, and receive an update page on newly releasing books we're excited about. Most importantly, go home with a new-to-you puzzle (or two!) to enjoy this spring.
